The external fabric is tough and water resistant whilst warmth is provided by our quilted XDown insulation.
What is Synthetic Down you might ask?
It is the best of both worlds - manufactured to utilise the versatile, sustainable threads of synthetic down insulation, with the warmth and loft that down offers.
Synthetic down insulation is created from 100% recycled polyester. Post-consumer PET bottles are broken down into resin and reinvented as polyester fibres. These ultrafine fibres become the fill in your Puffin Vest, trapping warmth within air pockets and mimicking the insulation effects of down.
Our XDown is able to imitate the qualities of down, even when your Vest gets damp. The end result is a super high performing, super durable insulating jacket with extra resistance to water.
